Overview
This program is designed to provide trainees with information to operate forklift safely. Employers are required to comply with the law to protect their workers from injury by providing training in forklift safe operation. Many of Forklift accident occurring every year some of these accident are fatal or property damage caused by operator error, poor maintenance and unsuitable operating surrounding The course covers the principles on reducing the risks of accident and property damage associated with forklift operation activities which can result serious impact to organization.
Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this course, the participants should be able to:
- Aware of the legislation surrounding the use of forklift trucks in the working environment.
- Understand the principles and purpose of the relevant components, systems and attachments.
- Understand inspection and maintenance of forklifts.
- Understand machine capacity and limitations.
- Knows the types of load, load distribution for stability, information on loads, hazardous loads.
- Understand safe operation procedures.
