Overview
The Level 1 International Award in Fire Safety is a qualification aimed at all staff, particularly new starters in any workplace, where a basic understanding of fire safety is required.
Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this course, the participants should be able to:
- Understand basic fire safety in workplace.
- Understand the principles of prevention and control of fire in the workplace.
- Understand actions to be taken in the event of a fire.
Target Audience
The Level 1 International Award in Fire Safety is designed to help an organization to meet its duties under current fire safety legislation by providing employees with essential knowledge about fire safety, helping them to understand how to prevent a fire from starting as well as what actions to take if a fire does break out.
