WHO TAKES A CERTIFICATE IN GENERAL HEALTH & SAFETY?
The General Certificate course is aimed at managers, supervisors and staff from all types of organizations who need a broad understanding of health and safety issues. The certificate helps them manage risks effectively. Many people take the General Certificate as one of the first steps towards a health and safety career, either with or without taking other International qualifications such as an IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH General Certificate.

Overview

This training program is designed to provide the essential general knowledge and understanding of health and safety for employees in workplace at commerce, public or service industries. Focus on the practice of good health and safety standards are given emphasis in order to reduce risks and prevent accidents and ill health arising from work activities. This course will also discuss the responsibilities and accountabilities of the employers for the safety conditions and fire prevention of the workers as required by the law. This will provide appropriate training for developing skills attitudes and knowledge on health and safety as essential element for a safe system.
